Report: Nipsey Hussle Sister Samantha Smith Denied Custody Of Rapper’s Daughter

LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Reports say Wednesday that Samantha Smith, the sister of Nipsey Hussle, was denied custody of her late brother’s daughter, for now.

Smith requested an emergency order granting her temporary guardianship, but a judge has denied her request, according to a report.

The judge didn’t view the situation as an “emergency.” In court documents obtained by The Blast, it stated, “No urgency demonstrated for granting this relief prior to hearing on May 14th.”

The judge also ruled that Smith must notify the mother of Nipsey’s daughter of the hearing. In the initial request, Smith didn’t want her notified.
