SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — 19-year-old John Earnest has been named as the suspect in a synagogue shooting that left one person dead in Poway on Saturday afternoon.
Officials confirmed one person was killed in the shooting.
The deceased is described as an adult female; no further information was immediately provided, reports 10News.
The incident was reported at the Chabad of Poway located at 16934 Chabad Way sometime before 11:30 a.m., San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore said.
