KIRKLAND, WA. (THECOUNT) — A “very young” child was struck and killed by a vehicle while in the Safeway parking lot in Kirkland, Washington Thursday afternoon, Kirkland Police said.
Details are few, but the tragic incident occurred about 12:30 p.m. at the Safeway supermarket, located at 10020 NE 137th St, in Kirkland, WA.
The vehicle was traveling slowly when it hit the child.
Police did not say how old the child was, just that he was very young, reports Q13Fox.
