DALLAS COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Missy Shorey, of Lake Highlands, has died unexpectedly Tuesday night, her husband Marc Himelhoch wrote on Facebook.
Shorey, 47, who was the first woman elected to lead the Dallas County Republican Party, “passed unexpectedly” said Himelhoch on Facebook Tuesday.
Shorey was elected chairwoman of the county GOP party in November 2017, reports NBCDFW.
Shorey appeared on Lone Star Politics on NBC 5 in January of 2018.
A cause of death was not provided.
No other details of the passing were immediately made available.
