HOMER CITY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Makenzie Marie Deditch of Grafton, W.Va. has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash in Center Township, PA. 67-year-old Willard Francis Allshouse Jr. of Saltsburg, PA., a passenger in Deditch’s vehicle, was also killed in the collision.

Pennsylvania State Police say 17-year-old Deditch was operating a vehicle in the westbound lane on Pennsylvania 286, in Homer City, when she was struck head-on by 54-year-old David B. Wilson, who for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines, and drove into opposing lanes.

Both Deditch and Allshouse were pronounced ead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

Wilson’s vehicle also collided with another vehicle. 45-year-old Elizabeth Bush of Blairsville, PA suffered moderate injuries.

Wilson was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say the road was wet when the accident happened, but they haven’t released the cause of the crash just yet, reports WTAP.
