WASHINGTON, DC. (THECOUNT) — A man apparently attempted to set himself on fire in front of the White House Friday.
Secret Service agents apprehended the man. The man condition was not made available.

The event cause the WH to go into full lockdown mode.
A reports of suspicious package is said to be in play in the same area.

Someone apparently set himself on fire in front of the White House just now. I was coming out of the West Wing, and the Sevret Service isn’t letting anyone out onto Pennsylvania Ave. They say there are also suspicious packages.
