Hawthorne PD Officer Reported Shot Sunday Morning On Rosecrans

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA. (THECOUNT) — We are now learning that a Manhattan Beach police officer was shot Sunday morning. Those details are still emerging.

The officer was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition, according to the Hawthorne Police Department.

KTLA is reporting that multiple sources reports shots fired near Rosecrans Avenue and Aviation Boulevard in Manhattan Beach on Sunday morning.

Several shots are heard in videos taken by a witness at a parking lot in the area.

Authorities have not provided any information, but many law enforcement officers are seen responding to the area.
