TUCSON, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Dorothy Lee Flood has been identified as the grandmother of twin children found dead at a northwest Tucson residence Thursday.
Flood, whose age was not provided, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, court documents revealed Friday.

Deputies responded to a residence in the 2400 block of W. Kessler Place near La Cholla Boulevard and Ruthrauff Road Thursday afternoon on calls of a disturbance.
Officials said two elementary-aged twins were found suffering from trauma in the home.
Both children showed obvious signs of trauma. PCSD said the two juveniles later passed away from their injuries.
Flood, who was identified as the guardian and grandmother of the children, was taken into custody.
Police said the grandmother took guardianship of the 8-year-old children after their mother, Kristen Webb died Feb. 18, 2017, reports KVOA.
