The male was charged with battery. Police cited the cheeseburger incident as the cause for the charges.

The cheeseburger incident occurred on Tuesday around 11 p.m. at the McDonald’s, located at, 2819 E 3rd St, Bloomington.

The female worker called 911 saying she wanted to pursue charges against the man despite a lack of visible injuries.

The officer spoke with the manager who witnessed the argument. He confirmed the employee was working slowly, and that other employees were upset about it, police say.

The suspect later said he realizes he shouldn’t have gotten so angry. Bloomington Police Department Lt. John Kovach said they will issue the man a summons to court on a misdemeanor battery charge, according to FOX59.
