Body Of Missing AZ Woman Amanda Hanover Found ‘On The Rocks’ Lake Michigan Kenosha WI

KENOSHA, WI. (THECOUNT) — Missing Gilbert, Arizona woman, Amanda Hanover, has been identified as the body found on the Lake Michigan shore Saturday. Handover was reported as missing and endangered last week out of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Hanover, 39, was located deceased on the rocks just south of the Kemper Center, 6501 3rd Avenue, in Kenosha, WI. Saturday afternoon after being spotted by an individual who was “flying a kite” in the area.

Lt. James Beller said the Kenosha County Medical Examiner confirmed Monday morning that the body was that of Hanover.

Officials said an autopsy is being conducted today, reports KenoshaNews.

Police began searching for Hanover last week after her vehicle was discovered abandoned in HarborPark.

Hanover’s car was discovered parked on Fisherman Drive March 20. A police officer at first ticketed the car for a parking violation just before 5 p.m. on March 20. When the vehicle was still parked in the same place hours later, officers took a closer look and saw keys locked in the vehicle, along with a phone and clothing.

Officers contacted the registered owner of the vehicle in Michigan, who said his daughter, Hanover, had been using the car, and that the family had not spoken to her since March 18.
