TRENTON, NJ. (THECOUNT) — New Jersey China Dragon restaurant owner, Fei “Peter” Ni, has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash near Monroe, New Jersey on Wednesday.
Ni, 39, was killed following a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor while traveling on Interstate 75 near Monroe on Wednesday.
Ni’s Toyota SUV slammed into a semi-truck that was illegally parked at the entrance of an I-75 rest area near Monroe.
Michael Vosburg, 36, Lawrence, Mich., claimed he was sleeping in his 18-wheeler when he was awoken by an impact to the rear vehicle. He was uninjured in the deadly crash.
Vosburg was issued a traffic citation for parking in a no-parking zone, according to reporting by Journal-News.
The restaurant will be closed for three days, according to a sign on the front door:
