KINGSPORT, TN. (THECOUNT) — Cody Beasley, from Mount Carmel, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday motorcycle crash, according to Sullivan County officials Thursday.
Beasley, 27, who resided in Kingsport, was found deceased in Colonial Heights by officials who responded to Colonial Heights Road around 2:00 a.m. on reports of a motorcycle crash.

On Thursday, March 7th, around 2:00 AM, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a motorcycle had crashed on Colonial Heights Road near the intersection of Forest Hills Drive.
The operator of the motorcycle, Cody Beasley, age 26, of Kingsport was found deceased.
Members of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office Fatal Incident Reconstruction Support Team (FIRST) were called to investigate the crash. While the investigation continues, preliminary information indicates that the motorcycle operator was negotiating a curve on Colonial Heights Road when the motorcycle left the roadway and came to rest in the yard of a residence. source
Beasley was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries sustained in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
