FORSYTH COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Kristen Leigh McNeal, the Winston-Salem mother reported missing weeks ago, was found dead inside her vehicle in Kernersville Monday following an apparent crash, according to a news release from Winston-Salem police.
McNeal, 30, who had not been seen since Feb. 17, was found deceased inside her vehicle on Watkins Ford Rd after 3:00 p.m. Monday.
Winston-Salem police say they received a call of a vehicle wrecked in a stream.
Officials determined McNeal was operating a vehicle west on Watkins Ford Road, when for unknown reasons, exited the roadway, traveled down an embankment and came to a rest in Abbotts Creek, according to troopers.
Officials say said they believe the crash occurred “several days ago.”
McNeal was the mother of two children, ages 9 and 12, according to MyFox8.
