MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD. (THECOUNT) — Matthew Klopfer has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday morning auto crash in Rockville, MD.

Klopfer, 27, was operating a Ford pickup truck on Great Seneca Highway at Darnestown Road, in Rockville, when for unknown reasons, exited the roadway, crossed centerlines and struck a tree before coming to a rest.

Klopfer was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash of multiple blunt force trauma injuries at around 4 a.m. Saturday.

The collision remains under investigation.
