KINGSTON, RI. (THECOUNT) — University of Rhode Island Student student, Dominique Franco, has been identified as the female found dead over the weekend at a frat house in Kingston, Rhode Island.

Franco, a URI Greek life president, died after experiencing a “medical event,” at 4 Fraternity Circle at 8:38 a.m. on Saturday, according to reports.

First-responders were dispatched to 4 Fraternity Circle, in Kingston on reports of a medical emergency.

Upon arrival, an unresponsive female victim was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

A cause of death has not been provided.

4 Fraternity Circle is listed as the address of Zeta Tau Alpha’s Lambda Beta chapter chapter.

ZTA refers to itself as a women’s fraternity that “aims to intensify friendship, foster a spirit of love, and build a purer and nobler womanhood in the world.”

Franco’s mother Gina told local press that her daughter suffered from a thyroid condition.

Dominique had been out with her friends to have some drinks that night, Gina Franco said.

URI said that foul play was not suspected, ProvidenceJournal reported on Monday.
