Former Captive Kala Brown BF Adam Mayson Found Dead In Piedmont SC Saturday

PIEDMONT, SC. (THECOUNT) — Authorities are investigating the death of Adam Mayson, the Piedmont, South Carolina boyfriend of Kala Brown, the woman rescued after held captive by serial killer Todd Kohlhepp.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office and Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death of Mayson, who was pronounced dead at a hospital on Saturday.

Officials declined to specify the nature of the incident, cause of death or any other details in the death.

An autopsy is scheduled for later Monday.

Mayson was the boyfriend of Kala Victoria Brown, the woman who made national headlines after she was held captive by serial killer Todd Kohlhepp.

Mayson was dating Brown for less than a year, said Ashley Gilliland, Mayson’s cousin, reported Greenvilleonline.
