HUNTERSVILLE, NC. (THECOUNT) — Holly Fairall, of Cornelius, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Huntersville.
Fairall, 54, was operating a vehicle, traveling on N.C. 73 near Blythe Landing, when for still unknown reasons, crossed centerlines and exited the roadway after 5 a.m. Saturday.
Police said Fairall’s vehicle then struck a utility pole.
Officers responded to reports of a vehicle crash near Blythe Landing. Upon arrival, authorities found Fairall deceased and a passenger suffering from injuries as a result of the violent crash.
A passenger, 55-year-old James Ritchie Jr., also of Cornelius, was transported to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte with non-life-threatening injuries, LakeNormanPublications reported Sunday.
HPD’s Traffic Safety Division say the investigation is ongoing.
