HOLLAND, MI. (THECOUNT) — Troy Wells Jr. has been identified as the Michigan teen shot dead at a Hampton Inn in Holland Saturday morning.

“T.J.” Wells, 14, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound in a deadly shooting occurring just after 12:00 a.m. Saturday morning at the Felch Street Hotel.

Authorities say they have issued a BOLO for suspect or suspects involved in the fatal incident. A felony warrant has been issued for Claudio Estrada Jr., 23, of Holland, on charges of open murder and felony firearms, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies responded to calls of shots fired at the Holland Hampton Inn, located at 12427 Felch St, in Holland, MI.

Upon arraial, police found Wells suffering from gunshot injuries.

He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

Police believe there were two groups hanging out Friday night when a fight broke out leading to the death of the teenager. The shooting is believed to be gang related, but deputies are still investigating to what extent, and say that the scene is still active, reports Fox17Online.

Estrada is still being sought. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
