BOURBONNAIS TOWNSHIP, IL. (THECOUNT) — Oscar Valdovinos has been identified as the Champaign man involved in a deadly head-on collision in Bourbonnais Township, IL, Monday night.

Valdovinos, 23, collided with a semi-tractor head-on Monday night in a fatal crash occurring in Bradley, Illinois.

The Champaign man was operating a Honda Accord on I-57 near Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School, when for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines and exited the roadway.

The Honda then struck the median causing it to traveling in opposing lanes.

The Honda then struck a semi head-on near Bradley-Bourbonnais just before 7:30 p.m.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the violent wreck.

The condition of the semi-truck driver was not provided by officials, Source FoxIllinois.

Officials named the victim as “Oscar C. Valdovinous,” however, TheCount.com believes the correct spelling may be “Valdovinos.” This information and the correct spelling have not been confirmed by officials.
