ORLANDO, FL. (THECOUNT) — Keveon Smith has been identified as the victim on a fatal Saturday shooting in Orlando, Florida.
Smith, 22, was found suffering from at least one gunshot injury along with two others who were injured in the early morning shooting Saturday, according to officials.
The Orlando Police Department said they responded to calls of shots fired in the 330 block of North Orange Avenue, near Club Lit, in downtown Orlando around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Upon arrival, authorities found Smith suffering from life-threatening gunshot injuries in the Bank of America building parking lot.
Officers said two more victims were found near “Club Lit,” a nightclub that is across the street from the Bank of America building. Those victims are stable condition.
Smith was transported to an area hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.
The incident appears to be isolated and there is no ongoing threat to the area, according to authorities. Police will be increasing their patrols throughout the area through Sunday night, reports clickOrlando.
Anyone with possible information on the deadly incident should contact police at 911. There may be a reward for information leading to a suspect or suspects.
