LOUISVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) — Mylachi Malone and Matthew Stevens have been identified as the two victims killed in a head-on crash in Louisville, Kentucky, on Friday morning.
Malone, 21, was operating a vehicle traveling on the Henry Watterson Expy, aka, Interstate 265, when for unknown reasons, he crossed centerlines, and struck Stevens’s vehicle head-on near New Cut Road.
Malone was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the violent crash.
Stevens was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
LMPD said the victims were the sole occupants of each car and no other injuries were reported, according to WAVE3.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
