DICKSON, TN. (THECOUNT) — Ricky Frye, Jr., of Dickson, Tennessee, and Charles Gooch, of Lyles, Tennessee, have been identified as the victims in a vehicle crash in Bon Aqua on Saturday.
Frye, 35, and Gooch, 41, were both killed in a crash that occurred on Blue Moon Road and State Route 46 before 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Frye was operating a Mustang, when for unknown reasons, he crossed centerlines and collided head-on with Gooch who was operating an Altima traveling in the opposite direction.
A 13-year passenger in the Altima was injured. That individual’s condition was not provided.
The driver of the Mustang, 35-year-old Ricky Frye, Jr., of Dickson, and the driver of the Altima, 41-year-old Charles Gooch, of Lyles, were identified by the Tennessee Highway Patrol as the victims who died in the crash. A 13-year passenger in the Altima was injured.
According to the THP report, Frye lost control of his vehicle and hit the vehicle driven by Gooch in the southbound lanes head-on.
