KANSAS CITY, MO. (THECOUNT) — A 26-year-old man racing in a Nitro Arenacross event on Friday night, exited the track and struck a wall, according to reports.
The crash occurred at the Hale Area at the American Royal Middle. Medical personnel were dispatched around 9 p.m. Friday night. The event was cancelled for the remainder of Friday night, but is expected to continue on Saturday, according to newsclads.
The event’s website advertises the bike event as: “a jaw-dropping present that options gravity defying magnificent leisure for the entire household to take pleasure in. This adrenaline-charged present could have our prime riders from around the nation compete on over one hundred fifty truckloads of perfectly manicured dust on one of the best arenacross tracks in the nation.”
The injured rider was not immediately identified.
