CHARLOTTE, NC. (THECOUNT) — One person is dead from a gunshot wound following a dispute inside a store at the Carolina Place Mall, according to wsoctv.
The shooting occurred at the DTLR store, located at, 34HC+WW Pineville, 14, in Pineville, NC, on Sunday afternoon, say Pineville Police.
MEDIC said one person was pronounced dead on scene.
Officers said a suspect was taken into custody shortly after the shooting.
The victim and the suspect have not been identified at this time.
Police said this does not appear to be random, but an ongoing dispute between the two individuals.
Officials said the upper, west side of the mall will be shutdown for several more hours as police continue their investigation. source
