BAMBERG COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — South Carolina couple, Janis Quintero Natos and Jamell Reggie Carter, missing since December 12, have been positively identified as the two bodies found in Rivers Bridge State Park Friday.
Natos, 35, and 38-year-old Carter, were last seen alive on December 12th, 2018. Rangers say the bodies were found around Friday 8 a.m. in Rivers Bridge State Park.
SLED is assisting in an investigation.
The bodies are being sent in for an autopsy.
Further information from the autopsy will not be ready until next week, according to wrdw.
The coroner says the cause of death is still unknown at this time due to the decomposition of the bodies, but that information should be released in the next week.
