JOHNSON COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Thomas D. Miller, of Trafalgar, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash in Johnson County Saturday night.
Miller, 35, died following a two-vehicle crash that occurred in the 5600 block of S Nineveh Rd, in Franklin, IN, around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
The crash involved a car and a pickup truck that were traveling in opposite directions on Nineveh Road, deputies said.
According to the sheriff’s office, Miller was operating a passenger vehicle, when for unknown reasons, 36-year-old driver of a pickup truck, Justin A. Mcilquham, of Greenwood, crossed centerlines and collided with Miller head-on.
Mcilquham was transported by helicopter to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the violent crash.
Police on-scene said that impairment did not seem to play a factor in the fatal wreck.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing. source
