PHOENIX, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Brenna Olson has been identified as the victim in a fatal two-vehicle rollover collision in Phoenix on Thursday.
Olson, 18, was ejected from her vehicle in a crash occurring just before 10 p.m. on Thursday, near 43rd Avenue & Thunderbird Road, in Phoenix, AZ.
According to reports, a Toyota Camry was making a left turn onto 43rd Avenue when it collided with a Mercury Mountaineer. The force of the crash caused the 18-year-old driver of the Mountaineer to be ejected from the vehicle, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Olson was not wearing seatbelt at the time of the violent collision, according to a crash report.
The 22-year-old Camry driver, who was not injured in the crash, is suspect of driving while impaired.
His four passenger were also uninjured in the incident.
Olson was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening blunt force trauma injuries.
She later died of her injuries, according to family members.
Olson’s family and friends held a vigil Friday night at the crash scene. source
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
