NORTH CHARLESTON, SC. (THECOUNT) — Police say what was initially reported as the Wednesday suicide of a North Charleston man, is now being investigated as a homicide, according to authorities.

The victim, known as, “HoodRich Titoo,” was found by police on the front porch of a home in the 3400 block of Navajo Street, Wednesday morning suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, according to police.

Kwantice Ravenel, the woman arrested at the scene of the deadly shooting on unrelated drug charges, is commenting on Facebook Friday about Wednesday’s fatal incident.

Ravenel, the victim’s girlfriend, was arrested after police conducted a search of the house and found marijuana and pills. Ravenel was charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule four drug.

According to Ravenel, she was talking with the victim when he walked out the front door and she heard a gunshot a short time later. She says she then discovered Titoo on the porch suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
