TUCSON. AZ. (THECOUNT) — David Gonzales, from Tucson, Richard Davis, 58, and Lynn Davis, 60, both of Riverside, California and Ellen Bennett, 57, from Tucson, Arizona, have been identified as the victims in a six-vehicle pileup on Interstate 10 Friday afternoon.
Gonzales, 44, was operating a pickup truck north on I-10 Friday afternoon when he crossed the median and struck an SUV head-on, DPS said.

The collision caused a semi-truck to strike the SUV and the pickup, causing a chain reaction crash.
A Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office transport van was also involved in the collision.
Neither the prisoner, nor the two deputies in the van were seriously injured, but they were taken to UMC in Tucson for treatment. source
According to DPS, minutes before the crash troopers were attempting to locate a reckless driver on eastbound I-10.
The crash remains under investigation.
