MANCHESTER, KY. (THECOUNT) — Amber Bowling has been identified as the Kentucky mother indicted over the death of her newborn child.

Bowling, 21, was charged with murder in the death of her newborn baby after the child was found in a trash bag below the balcony of her second-story apartment building in Clay County, KY.

The suspect allegedly placed the infant, who was no more than a couple of hours old, in a trash bag and then launched the child off a second-story balcony, according to the indictment.

An autopsy found the baby died from injuries related to multiple blunt force trauma.

She was previously arrested for the crime, but will be re-arraigned following the indictment. source

Bowling’s arrest citation said the baby had a cranial fracture, fractured ribs and a brain bleed.
