EVERETT, MA. (THECOUNT) — Authorities confirm Everett High School has been placed on lockdown following a deadly shooting in the city on Wednesday.

Middlesex County officials said officers responded Wednesday morning to Central Avenue in Everett, MA, for a report of a fatal shooting.

Central Avenue is blocked off at Myrtle Street. Neighbors told her they heard two or three shots.
