DAYTON, OH. (THECOUNT) — Brandi Grooms, of Brookville, Ohio, has been identified as the stranger found dead in a man’s Dayton home Saturday afternoon.
Grooms, 41, was reportedly found dead inside a man’s spare bedroom, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office. The resident stated he had no relation to the victim and had never seen her before the incident.
Police say, a man called 911 to report discovering an unknown female dead in his spare bedroom of his residence, located in the 2000 block of Speice Avenue, in Dayton, OH, Around noon.
According to the 911 call obtained from Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, the caller told dispatch that he discovered the body in a spare bedroom when he came home. source
The homeowner, who was not identified, reported that he did not know who the victim was or how she gained access to the house, according to dispatch logs.
A cause of death is unknown at this time.
