RIVERVIEW, MO. (THECOUNT) — St. Louis County Police have identified the man and woman found dead in a car Monday afternoon as the missing Olivette couple, Michele Laws and Igor Zhukov.
The Olivette Police Department confirmed Tuesday that the car belongs to Laws and Zhukov Monday afternoon. On Tuesday, police identified the the victims as Laws and Zhukov in an apparent homicide.
Riverview police said they were called to the 300 block of Bluff Drive to investigate a suspicious car. When they arrived, they found the two victims dead inside the car.
Police said both victims suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Authorities said they did not know how long they were dead before they were discovered.
The age of the victims was not provided.
They were reported missing out of Olivette last week.
Riverview police asked the St. Louis County Police Department to help with the investigation.
The incident is being investigated as a double homicide. source
