CLARE COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Robert Reid, of Lake George, MI, has been identified as the suspect shot dead by Clare County Sheriff deputies on November 21.

Bob Reid, 42, died of multiple gunshot wounds in an altercation with police in the 1900 South Finley Lake Avenue, in Harrison, MI.

The three involved Clare County Sheriff deputies were place on paid administrative leave over the weekend, according to officials.

Deputies were called to the home in Lincoln Township to investigate a felonious assault where a police-involved shooting occurred.

The suspect was identified as 42-year-old Robert Reid of Harrison. Autopsy results show Reid’s cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds. source

Michigan State Police are still investigating.
