FORT WAYNE, IN. (THECOUNT) — Two men and a woman, all of Fort Wayne, Joevonn M. Johnson, 23, Colton D. Messmer, 20, and Tracey A. Andrews, 21, have been identified as the victims of a shooting at a home in the 6100 block of Downingtown Drive on Friday night, the Allen County coroner’s office said today.
All died at the scene from a gunshot wound or wounds, and their deaths are homicides, the coroner’s office said in a statement following autopsies.
Police say they were called to the scene about 10:15 p.m. Friday on reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, the grisly discovery was made.
Kameron Joyner, 22, was arrested in connection with the shootings after he was pulled over in a traffic stop at the intersection of Rudisill Boulevard and Clinton Street, Fort Wayne police Department have said. He was taken into custody without incident. source
Joyner was preliminarily charged with five counts of aggravated battery.
Another man, Gerald Pinkston, 22, was being sought in the shooting, police have said.
The shooting remains under investigation by city police, the county prosecutor’s office and the coroner’s office.
