STATEN ISLAND, NY. (THECOUNT) — Investigators say a group of children reported finding the burning body of a partially-clothed woman near Eugene St, and Bartow Ave, Tottenville, Staten Island, NY, Sunday.
Firefighters responded to the scene after a small fire was reported in a wooded area in Tottenville by children who made the grisly discovery.
The identity of the woman’s body has not yet been released.
No arrests have been made and no suspect information was immediately provided.
Police are investigating the death of a woman who was apparently set on fire on Staten Island.
