TX Woman Lyric Polley ID’d As Victim Shot Dead Sunday At Nacogdoches ASD Lounge

NACOGDOCHES, TX. (THECOUNT) — Lyric Polley, of Nacogdoches, TX, has been identified as the victim shot dead early Sunday morning at an area night spot.

The Nacogdoches Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday at the ASD Lounge, according to police.

According to a press release, police responded to a call of shots fired at the ASD Lounge, located at, to 609 Old Tyler Rd, in Nacogdoches, TX, early Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, officers found a large disturbance and a victim lying on the ground outside of the club. The victim had suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was later identified as 21-year-old Polley.

Police identified the victim as 21-year old Lyric Polley of Nacogdoches. The victim was determined to be deceased by emergency medical personnel that responded to the scene. source

Polley was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot wounds.

The press release said officers have not made any arrests in reference to the homicide but are actively working the case.
