CHESTERFIELD, VA. (THECOUNT) – Jacob Farnworth, of Chesterfield, Virginia, has been identified as the suspect arrested in connection with a vandalism at Chester, VA, church before midnight Nov. 6.
“Jake” Farnworth, 25, broke into the Ironbridge Church, located at, 10900 Iron Bridge Rd, Chester, VA, and tore pages of Bibles and threw them to the ground all while donning a “I [HEART] Jesus” hat.

Church officials captured surveillance images showing a man, later identified as Farnworth, spray-painting walls in the church and medically tearing out pages from Bibles provided to practitioners.
Police said the was wearing a black jacket, light-colored jeans, dark-colored shoes and a black hat that appeared to say “I [HEART] Jesus” hat. source
Farnworth, 25, of Richmond, was arrested on warrants of breaking and entering, possession of burglary tools and vandalism. He was arrested without incident, and is being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.
“This incident does not appear to be random,” Chesterfield Police said in a Facebook post.
Church leaders and members spent Wednesday cleaning up and taking a closer look at their security.
Farnworth’s Facebook depicts his infamous “I <3 Jesus" hat and several photos of the bible and disparaging bible related posts.
