APISON PIKE, TN. (THECOUNT) — Richard Lamneck, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim killed in an Apison Pike, Apison, TN, crash Tuesday night.
Lamneck, 46, had stopped on the side of the road because of a flat tire on a trailer he was pulling, when he was struck by a Ford F-150 before 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to Hamilton County Sheriff spokesman.
Lamneck was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.
Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a deadly crash 12000 block of Apison Pike shortly before 6:15 pm. HCSO spokesperson Matt Lea says 46-year-old Richard B. Lamneck’s Lea says a driver in a Ford F-150 hit the trailer and Lamneck as it passed by. source
