WOODBURN, OR. (THECOUNT) — Brian Caine, of Bellevue, Washington, has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed by multiple vehicles Wednesday morning on Interstate 5 near Woodburn, Oregon.

Caine, 50, was fatally struck while walking on Interstate 5 southbound north of Woodburn, Oregon, early morning Wednesday at around 4:30 a.m.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.

Around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, dispatch received calls regarding a person standing in the roadway on Interstate 5 about three miles north of Woodburn. Before emergency personnel could arrive on the scene, the pedestrian, identified as Brian Caine, 50, of Bellevue, Washington, had reportedly been struck by multiple vehicles. source
