JEFFERSON CITY, MO. (THECOUNT) — The search missing Jefferson City boy, Darnell Gray, has ended Tuesday morning, confirmed authorities working the case.
Jefferson City Police Department Lt. David Williams said the 4-year-old’s body was found just before 12 p.m.
Williams said the body of 4-year-old Darnell Gray was found Tuesday morning.
Williams stated a law enforcement search party found the body. A cause of death was not provided.
Lt. David Williams said the Gray did not die on “his own accord,” and said the Federal Bureau of Investigation evidence team was assisting the Jefferson City Police Department in its investigation. source
He said the medical examiner was called in. At the time of the news conference, Williams said it was too early to determine how Darnell Gray died.
