NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (KTRK) — Theodore Jones, aka, rapper, Young Greatness, was shot and killed outside a Waffle House in his hometown of New Orleans on Monday.
Jones, 34, who moved to Houston after Hurricane Katrina, was killed in a shooting at 1:35 a.m. in the parking lot of the popular restaurant located at Elysian Fields Avenue, in New Orleans, LA.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot wounds.
The Times-Picayune reports that Jones’ mother told WDSU that her son was in New Orleans for a funeral and was on FaceTime with his manager when shots were fired. source
He’s best known for the 2015 song “Moolah,” which featured Atlanta rapper Jazze Pha. The song also reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The music video was set in New Orleans.
