DC Secret Service, EMS, Swarm Russian Embassy Over “Suspicious Package”

WASHINGTON, DC. (THECOUNT) — Officials are investigating an unattended suspicious package on Wisconsin Avenue near the Russian Embassy on Sunday. Heavy police, U.S. Secret Service, and fire EMS crews on the scene.

Officials with the U.S. Secret Service say the activity is centered at the Sherry Hall building at 2702 Wisconsin Ave.

D.C. police have announced closures at the 2600 block of Wisconsin Ave NW.
