ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Ricardo Calderon of Pensacola, Florida, has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed overnight.
Officials with the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed, Calderon, 32, was walking in West Pensacola when he was hit by a vehicle in the fatal crash in Escambia County.

According to a press release, a van carrying six passengers hit Calderon as he was crossing the street. Some of the passengers in the car suffered minor injuries.
