CHESNEE, SC. (THECOUNT) — Casey Allen Douglas has been identified as the suspect accused for killing his girlfriend and her father Thursday at a Spartanburg County residence.

Douglas, 28, stabbed his girlfriend and her father to death, and then sat on the front porch of a residence they shared, until deputies arrived, a news release from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies were called at about 8:20 a.m. Thursday to a home on Crawford Road, in Chesnee, SC, on reports of a stabbing. When deputies arrived, they found Douglas sitting on the front porch of the home, where he also lived, with his arms raised.

A 911 caller, who is a family member of Douglas, indicated that Douglas confessed to stabbing his girlfriend and her father.

Deputies said Douglas was placed in a patrol cruiser while authorities located the bodies.

The victims were pronounced dead at the scene of stab wounds.

A motive in the killings remains under investigation, deputies said.

The coroner will release the identity of the victims once next of kin have been notified.

Douglas is charged with two counts of murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. source

Douglas is being held in the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
