PENSACOLA, FL. (THECOUNT) — Shirley Snow, of Pensacola, has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed on Mobile Highway early Wednesday morning, according to a FHP report.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports, Snow, 56, was walking on the westbound shoulder of Mobile Highway near the intersection of Tonawanda Drive shortly after midnight when she was struck by a Ford Windstar.
Snow traveled into the westbound travel lane and was struck by the front end of a 2001 Ford Windstar driven by Shaun Vestal, 41, of Pensacola, who was traveling west on Mobile Highway. source
Snow was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.
Charges are pending investigation.
