CALLAWAY COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Charles Prather, of St. Peters, MO, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday Fulton, Callaway County helicopter crash.
Prather, 47, was the only person on board a helicopter when it went down near Bartley Ln, in Fulton, MO on Wednesday.
Witnesses indicated a power failure of some kind led to the crash, Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism said. The crash happened in a remote area and the site was contained, he said.
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim from Wednesday’s helicopter crash as Charles Prather, 47, of St. Peter’s. Authorities said Prather was the only person on board. source
Recovery operations ceased after authorities confirmed only one person was on the helicopter, Chism said.
