MS Chevron Refinery Killed IN Tuesday Fall Identified As Albert Lee Byrd II

PASCAGOULA, MS. (THECOUNT) — Performance Contractors, Inc., employee, Albert Lee Byrd II, has been identified as the victim killed following a fatal fall at the Chevron refinery in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Byrd II, whose age was not provided, received fatal injuries after falling from an elevated structure at the facility, located at, 250 Industrial Rd, in Pascagoula, MS, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 16th, according to Chevron officials.

Officials say the Chevron emergency responders provided emergency support services on the scene and called an ambulance. Federal and local authorities were also notified, including the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department. source
