ANDERSON, SC. (THECOUNT) — Juwan Andrew Jenkins has been identified as the victim in a Anderson County crash early Sunday morning.
Jenkins, 23, was operating a 2010 Nissan Versa when, for unknown reasons, exited the roadway and struck a metal pole on Whitehall road in Anderson County.
A crash report noted that Jenkins was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the crash.
An upstate man died after running off the road and hitting a metal pole, troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said. The crash happened around 2:15 a.m. Sunday on Whitehall road in Anderson County. Chief Deputy Coroner Charlie Boseman identified the victim as Juwan Andrew Jenki. source
