GREENSBORO, NC. (THECOUNT) — Ali Farad Hasan has been identified as the victim shot at a Greensboro apartment complex Saturday morning. Reports say he has now died from his injuries, according to police.
Tadarrius Martrez Devon Davis, 26, of High Point, was arrested in the death of Hasan, according to a Greensboro police press release.
Hasan, 25, was shot along with a woman, who was also injured but survived and is stable condition. Her name hasn’t been released, according to Greensboro police.
Police were called to the Sedgefield Square Apartments, located at, 4215 Bernau Ave, in Greensboro, NC 27407 shortly after 8 a.m., on reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, first responders located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. They were transported code 3 to area hospitals.
Hasan had been listed in critical condition, however, has since been pronounced dead.
The female victim is listed in stable condition and is expected to survive.
The suspect’s vehicle has been described as a newer model charcoal grey sedan. source
Police have not released a motive but did add that another man, Christopher Steven Young, 28 of Greensboro, was shot dead in the same area last Saturday. Authorities stopped short of making a connection.
